Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes what Terrell County Busted Mugshots may receive when someone visits a page, uses a search tool, or sends a message. Using the pages means accepting the practices described here. Outside government offices, search providers, analytics services, advertising partners, and linked resources follow their own policies.

Information Sent Directly

Search terms

A name, location, or other text entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Terrell County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those terms on its own systems.

Messages

An email or contact submission is retained long enough to read and answer it. Messages are not shared outside the operating organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.

Technical Information

Routine page requests can create technical logs. Those logs may include:

  • IP address;
  • browser name and version;
  • device type and operating system;
  • pages visited and time spent;
  • the referring page, when available; and
  • request dates and timestamps.

Cookies

Cookies or similar tools may help measure how visitors use the pages, support features, or remember a setting. Browser controls can block them. Some functions may respond differently when cookies are disabled.

How Information Is Used

Collected information may be used to operate the pages and understand how they perform. Common uses include:

  • keeping the service available and responsive;
  • sending search requests to the selected partner;
  • learning which pages are useful;
  • finding errors and technical problems; and
  • showing advertising that may relate to visitor interests.

Links Beyond These Pages

Links point to the Terrell County Sheriff's Office, its contact route, the Superior Court Clerk's criminal-document page, the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search, federal locators, news outlets, and outside search tools. Current public sources identify Sheriff Vernon L. Jessie, but the destination offices control their own records and privacy notices. Once a visitor leaves these pages, the destination's own privacy notice controls that activity. Terrell County Busted Mugshots does not control an agency's records system or a partner's data practices.

Advertising partners may use their own technologies to measure activity across different services and deliver interest-based advertising. Those systems are operated by the partners, not by the county reference pages.

Who May Receive Data

Personal information is not sold by the publisher. It may be available to the following parties when needed for the purposes described above or required by law:

  • search partners that process submitted queries;
  • analytics providers;
  • advertising networks;
  • service providers that keep the pages operating; and
  • law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.

Security Limits

Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for information handled by the service. No system connected to the internet is completely secure, so absolute protection against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access cannot be promised.

Visitors Under 18

The pages are intended for adults. The publisher does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or young person who believes information was submitted can request review and deletion through the contact route.

Available Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law and the limits of the systems involved, a person may ask to:

  • receive a copy of information held about the person;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete information that the publisher is able to remove; or
  • decline certain forms of processing.

Requests should explain what information is at issue and how it was submitted. A request sent to a government office or a search partner must be handled by that organization.

Changes to This Notice

This notice may be revised as the service, tools, or legal requirements change. A revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised practices apply.
